  April Meeting: Saturday, April 10th

Reunion in April

Site for meeting: Thistle Needleworks, Glastonbury, CT at 10 AM

Since the "reunion" last June was such a success, we would like to schedule one again for our April meeting.

Please bring your projects, those that are finished, unfinished, or works in progress.  We'd also like to see class pieces you have taken this year or exciting pieces that you would like to share.  Hopefully we can all learn from the problems you encountered or tips you'd like to share.

Our chapter has received donations of lots of items from the families of Cele Foley and Rosemary Cornelius.  Because there will be many things to sort through and disburse, we have decided to postpone the "What's New on the Market" presentation until a future meeting.

Schedule for Saturday:
10 AM to 12:30 PM         Sharing of projects and Foley/Cornelius
                                                              donations
12:30 PM                          Meeting and future program updates
1 PM                                 Lunch at nearby restaurant

Message From Your Chapter Librarian

We have received a very large donation of needlework books, supplies, and works-in-progress from the families of our late members Rosemary Cornelius and Cele Foley.  Some of the books will be added to the chapter library, but many are duplicates of the titles we already have on our shelves.

The "excess" books, the tools and supplies, and the works in progress will be offered to our members at the April 10th meeting.  Your monetary donation for each book or item taken will go into the chapter's general fund.  So bring your shopping bags and cash or checkbook with you to the meeting (sorry, charge cards are not accepted).
