Embroiderers' Guild of America, New England Region

Connecticut River Valley Chapter

The Connecticut River Valley Chapter (CRVC) is a member of the New England Region of the Embroiderers' Guild of America.  Our purpose is to foster interest and excellence in all phases of embroidery through an active program of education.

We welcome ALL stitchers... beginners, intermediate, and advanced to:

  • Promote the art of needlework
  • Share knowledge and skills through active program study
  • Explore, grow and achieve

Our Chapter Events are held at various locations within the Greater Hartford, Connecticut area.  Most of our Chapter meetings take place at Thistle Needleworks, 506 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield, CT.

See the embroidery pieces stitched by CRVC members that were on exhibit at EGA Headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky March 1 - May 31, 2004.

CRVC was the host chapter for the NER Seminar 2003 held May 2-4, 2003 in Farmington, Connecticut.
