New England Region Seminar
May 2 - 4, 2003

AN INVITATION

The Connecticut River Valley Chapter invites you to the Farmington Valley to join us for "STITCH 'N BEE 2003," the New England Region Seminar of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. We are looking forward to making your New England Region Seminar a memorable "BEE there" experience.

The Farmington Marriott Hotel is the "Hive" location for this event. Enjoy luxury services at this contemporary resort-like hotel for a relaxing stay in a beautiful wooded setting. Connecticut's Farmington Valley is just the place to have a country getaway. Picture the great outdoors and spring in bloom. Add a little style, New England charm, some history, fine arts & crafts, a trail of antiques, and you have the Farmington Valley.

Your Seminar weekend begins on Friday with a special invitation shopping spree at Thistle Needleworks in Glastonbury. You may dine at the hotel restaurant -- a specially priced dinner will be offered to you this evening. For dessert, an old-fashioned ice cream social welcome reception will allow you to meet and greet old and new friends, connect with your teachers, locate your classrooms, and shop at our mini merchandise market. Saturday evening's banquet will kick off with a cash bar. Baskets donated by region chapters will be displayed at this time, and the winners will be announced after dinner.

There are many wonderful classes and events planned for you. We have great accommodations and well-lit classrooms with windows. If you wish to extend your stay for further sightseeing, our discount room rate will apply for several days before and after the Seminar. We look forward to your joining us.

We'll "BEE" seeing you!
